PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing position determination method for a circuit board capable of easily reducing noise which may be generated in the circuit board to mount an electronic component having electrostrictive properties thereon.SOLUTION: A fixing position determination method for a circuit board includes the steps of: measuring vibrations generated in a circuit board in which an electronic circuit is formed and which is fixed at a predetermined fixing position, while operating the electronic circuit in the circuit board; calculating a frequency of the vibration generated in the circuit board; identifying a portion where an antinode of a vibration wave generated in the circuit board is positioned; and selecting any arbitrary position included in the identified portion as an additional fixing position and further fixing the circuit board at the additional fixing position. These steps are repeated until the calculated frequency becomes higher than an audible frequency band and a position where the circuit board is being fixed at a time point when the frequency becomes higher, is determined as the fixing position for the circuit board. |
