PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a PAPR and control the degree of reduction in the PAPR in OFDM communication.SOLUTION: A modulation unit 11 generates a modulation signal from an input signal, and a serial-parallel conversion unit 12 performs serial-parallel conversion to generate a subcarrier modulation signal. A replacement unit 13 generates multiple pieces of partial data from the subcarrier modulation signal. An IFFT unit 14 performs inverse fast Fourier transformation of the partial data to generate inverse conversion data, a shift unit 15 shifts the inverse conversion data excluding determined inverse conversion data to generate shift data, and a calculation unit 16 adds the determined inverse conversion data and the shift data to generate calculation data. Until a determination unit 17 detects calculation data about which the peak-to-average power ratio of a baseband signal meets a criterion, the shift unit 15, the calculation unit 16, and the determination unit 17 repeat the processing. A transmission unit 18 generates a transmission signal from a baseband signal generated by combining the calculation data meeting the criterion and transmits it. |
