PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide graphite thermal interface material (TIM) that reduces thermal resistance between a heat generator and a radiator, is capable of making heat dissipation from the heat generator excellent, and its manufacturing cost is low, and its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: TIM of the invention is made of a thin film piece 19 of which the main surface is a surface parallel to the a-axis and b-axis of a graphite crystal, and matrix material including the thin film piece 19. The TIM is characterized in that a thin film structure is formed which is formed by breaking away at least part of a front surface of the thin film piece 19 from it in a linkage flare shape, and of which the main surface is a surface including the a-axis and b-axis of the graphite crystal. |
