PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container type data center and a container type data center control method for keeping an internal pressure of a container in balance.SOLUTION: A container 5 mounts therein a server 11 and separates a cold aisle 51 from a hot aisle 52. A shutter 60 opens/closes an opening portion 6 provided in the cold aisle 51 and communicating with an outside. A shutter 70 opens/closes an opening portion 7 provided in the hot aisle 52 and communicating with the outside. An air conditioner 3 cools air absorbed from the cold aisle 51 and discharges the air to the hot aisle 52. A management server 10 controls the shutters 60 and 70 to be opened/closed on the basis of either an acquired pressure of the cold aisle 51 or an acquired operating state of the air conditioner 3.
