PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polynucleotide encoding a heavy chain variable region and a light chain variable region of an anti-dog IgE antibody and to provide the anti-dog IgE antibody which contains these variable regions.SOLUTION: Disclosed are an anti-dog IgE monoclonal antibody bound to a dog IgE which contains a heavy chain variable region consisting of a specific amino acid sequence and a light chain variable region consisting of a specific amino acid sequence, or a functional fragment thereof bound to the dog IgE, a polynucleotide encoding the heavy chain variable region and the light chain variable region, a vector comprising the polynucleotide, a cell containing the vector, a method for production of the anti-dog IgE antibody by the cell, and a detection method of a dog allergic disease using the antibody.
