PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a backup operation to be performed without exerting pressure on communication for the normal operation even when a data amount of a backup object is increased due to an increase in scale and complications of a system in the system employing a redundant configuration.SOLUTION: In a processing system 10, a control part 11a selects, for each card 20 of a backup source, any of the other cards 20 as a backup destination of data and notifies an identifier for identifying the card 20 of the backup source to a card 20 of the backup destination. The card 20 of the backup source simultaneously transmits a backup request message including the identifier added beforehand and the data stored in an own data holding part 22. When receiving the backup request message whose identifier matches the identifier notified from the control part 11a, the card 20 of the backup destination stores the data included in the backup request message into a backup data storage region 23. |
