PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catheter capable of improving reliability, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An electrode catheter 1 includes: a catheter tube 2 having an electrode; and a handle 3 provided on the proximal end side of the catheter tube 2. The handle 3 has: a handle body 30; a division piece 31 attachable/detachable along a direction (a Y-axis direction) different from the axis of the handle body 30 to/from the handle body 30; a conducting wire 61 in which a distal end is electrically connected with the electrode, in which the proximal end side is extended from the inside of the catheter tube 2 into the handle 3, and which has a surplus portion 61a; a connector 62 electrically connected with the proximal end of the conduction wire 61; and a fixing part (an adhesive tape 64) fixing the surplus portion 61a of the conducting wire 61 to the handle body 30. |
