<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology preventing operation means (turn buckle) from interfering another insulator series, in a load cancellation device for an insulator.SOLUTION: A load cancellation device comprises: two elongation/contraction arm members 20 connecting terminal pieces 6 of two insulator holding members 2 and 3; operation means 30 for operating the elongation/contraction arm members to make closer or separate the insulator holding members; and a gear mechanism 40 which connects the operation means to the elongation/contraction arm members in a freely rotatable manner in such an attitude that the operation means is not orthogonal with a length direction of the elongation/contraction arm members, and transmits rotational forces from the operation means to the elongation/contraction arm members. When the operation means is rotated, the gear mechanism rotates first and second screw rods 21 and 23 and makes closer or separates the insulator holding members.</p> |
