An objective of the present invention is to provide a base setter for suppressing spalling at a center part of a side thereof even when rapid firing. The base setter (1) is for supporting an object to be fired, and has a triangular, a rectangular, a pentagonal or a hexagonal shape by bending a side (3) inward, wherein a depth of a concave shape (AB) formed at the center part of the side (3) is 5-25% based on a length (CD) of the side. By bending the side (3) inward, a portion of the base setter, in which a thermal stress may easily occur, can be cut so that the spalling at the center of the side (3) can be prevented even when rapid firing. |
