PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog electronic timepiece that collaterally performs displays related to a plurality of functions in a plurality of display areas and performs each of the displays selectively to efficiently show a function type relating to s display content of each of the display areas.SOLUTION: An analog electronic timepiece comprises: hands that correspond to a predetermined number of display areas respectively; a function hand that selectively performs display showing a predetermined function display or a function type of a display of each of the display areas; hand driving means for allowing the hand to turn individually at least for each of the display areas; and storage means for storing a display setting associated with a display position of each function. The function hand is provided with a predetermined number of instruction parts. An display panel is arrayed with type indicators indicating function types. The type indicators are provided with a combination between the function types, displayed in each of the display areas, in an array capable of being instructed by each of the instruction parts. Control means includes: display type change controlling means for changing the display content of each of the display areas; and display type notification controlling means for showing the combination between the function types of the display content of each of the display areas to each of the instruction parts. |
