PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave-based heat generator whose welding performance is independent of the shape, size and welding position.SOLUTION: A microwave-based heat generator includes a heat-generating grain 10 composed of a material whose temperature rising is stopped when the temperature is raised to a specified temperature by irradiation with microwaves, a welding joining material 20 which is composed of the same material as the base material to be joined with and specifically a thermoplastic resin welded with the base material through mutual fusion with the base material and a binder 30 composed of a thermoplastic resin which binds the heat-generating grain 10 and the welding joining material 20 integrally. Since the heat-generating grain 10 and the welding joining material 20 are bound integrally with a binder 30 composed of a thermoplastic resin, the heat generator does not deform through melting when the temperature is raised and is compressed, and the compression force is transmitted entirely with reduced shape changes of joints between the base material 20 itself, leading to uniformity of welding. |
