PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat dissipation device that is able to make heat dissipation from a heat generator excellent by improving adhesion between thermal interface material (TIM) made of carbon material such as graphite, and the heat generator and a radiator.SOLUTION: A heat dissipation device 10 is made up of a radiator and TIM 15 placed on the radiator. The TIM 15 is made of a graphite sheet, of which the main surface is a surface parallel to the a-axis and b-axis of a graphite crystal, and which has multiple flare shape thin film structures peeled away in layers, with at least part connected with the front surface, from the front surface, or is made up of a thin film piece of which the main surface is a surface parallel to the a-axis and b-axis of the graphite crystal, and has flare-shape structures peeled away in layers, with at least part connected with the front surface, from the front surface, and matrix material including the thin film piece. The front surface bordering with the TIM 15 of the radiator is characterized in that coating made of an allotrope of carbon is applied to it. |
