PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive unit capable of storing a set of a control gain, a frequency of notch filter and a depth and capable of resetting the set after performing automatic adjustment of the control gain.SOLUTION: In the motor drive unit, a notch filter automatic setting unit 6 detects a frequency and a depth of a notch filter from a motor speed 107, sets the detected values to a notch filter 3 and outputs a notch filter setting value 108 to a control gain automatic setting unit 8. An oscillation detector 7 detects existence of oscillation from the motor speed 107. In a state with no oscillation, a control gain automatic setting unit 8 sets a larger control gain and stores a control gain setting value 110 and the notch filter setting value 108; and in a state with oscillation, the control gain automatic setting unit 8 sets a smaller control gain, and outputs the notch filter setting value 108 which is stored as a set with a smaller control gain as a notch filter resetting value 111. The notch filter 3 uses the notch filter resetting value 111 first. |
