PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling device and an assembling method for a work that are useful for achieving high production efficiency.SOLUTION: The assembling device for a work comprises: a plurality of robots that perform the same work of work for assembling a work; a component supply portion for supplying the plurality of robots with components; a conveyor for conveying the work from a robot at an upstream side to a robot at a downstream side; and a controller that monitors the work performed by the robots and allocates the work to the robots. The controller, when the robot at the upstream side cannot complete a predetermined work, commands the robot at the downstream side to perform a predetermined work and the work that the robot at the upstream side could not complete. |
