PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform monitoring of a device group and also a storage unit of another device group that affects operation of the device group.SOLUTION: Provided is a monitoring device 20 that identifies a failure spot for a first device group 1 including a plurality of information processing devices 50 and a relay device 40 which relays access obtained by the plurality of information processing devices 50. The monitoring device 20 includes: a determination section 212 which determines whether or not an address of a storage unit 60 being a storage unit 60 included in a second device group 2 connected to the first device group 1 via the relay device 40 and being an access destination by at least one information processing device 50 out of the plurality of information processing devices 50, is included in one or more destination addresses of information transmitted outside the first device group 1 from the relay device 40; and a test control section 22 which makes one information processing device 50 out of the plurality of information processing devices 50 execute communication testing with respect to an address of the storage unit 60 that is determined by the determination section 212. |
