PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide door packing for a washing machine that is superior in damping and is high in productivity.SOLUTION: Door packing 20 for a washing machine is positioned to connect between an opening of a body 10 of a drum-type washing machine 1 and an opening of a water tank. The door packing 20 for a washing machine is made by molding a composition containing a thermoplastic elastomer, and has 40 or lower of type A durometer hardness. As the thermoplastic elastomer, may be used one or more selected from styrene thermoplastic elastomer, olefin thermoplastic elastomer, vinyl chloride thermoplastic elastomer and fluorine thermoplastic elastomer. The composition is desired to further contain a plasticizer.
