PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for rubber molding which reduces the pressure difference between rubbers during extrusion molding, without modifying the shape of the nozzle part, to improve the molding accuracy of the rubber.SOLUTION: A rubber molding apparatus is for molding a rubber molding consisting of a plurality of rubber layers integrally by extruding a plurality of kinds of rubbers simultaneously from discharge outlets formed in an extrusion head. A plurality of passages are formed within the extrusion head with inserts 27 to 29, and rubbers are caused to flow through. For a passage communicating with a discharge area smaller in cross section area than an adjacent discharge area, among discharge areas of the discharge outlets for rubbers which are formed by a notch 25a of the nozzle member 25 and a back die part 26a of a die holder 26, a level difference 29c is formed in an insert 29 to expand the passage so that the cross section area immediately before extruding the rubbers from the discharge outlets is greater than the cross section area of the discharge area and thereby adjust the pressure of the rubbers during extrusion from the discharge outlets. |
