PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overvoltage protection circuit capable of suppressing current consumption under an ordinary state and achieving few fluctuations in an output voltage relative to an input voltage under an overvoltage protection state.SOLUTION: The overvoltage protection circuit includes: an input terminal and an output terminal connected through a resistor; an overvoltage detection element for positive electrode for detecting that a voltage of the output terminal is not less than a value based on a reference voltage for positive electrode; an overvoltage detection element for negative electrode for detecting that a voltage of the output terminal is not more than a value based on a reference voltage for negative electrode; a bypass switching element for positive electrode which is provided between the output terminal and a reference potential terminal and turns on based on a detection result of the overvoltage detection element for positive electrode; and a bypass switching element for negative electrode which is provided between the output terminal and the reference potential terminal and turns on based on a detection result of the overvoltage detection element for negative electrode. |
