PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which maintains tire cavity air pressure, which is gradually reduced by air diffusion of the pneumatic rubber tire.SOLUTION: A pneumatic rubber tire 1 contains a pneumatic cavity. At least one of sidewalls 8 contains at least one groove 9 in its outer surface. The groove contains an elastic tube 3 within the groove. The tube is secured within the groove with sulfur-cured rubber contained in the groove. The sulfur-cured rubber communicates with walls of the groove and the tube, maintaining air pressure in the tire cavity.
