<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereo camera unit which is capable of accurately calculating distance data.SOLUTION: A stereo camera unit 10 includes a camera stay 12, a pair of lenses 14 fixed to the camera stay, an imaging element 22 receiving light condensed by the lenses 14, and a mounting substrate 24 on which the imaging element 22 is mounted. The mounting substrate 24 is fixed to the camera stay 12 through fastening means such as a screw, so that a relative position between the lenses 14 and the imaging element 22 is determined. As the mounting substrate 24, a metallic core substrate having a metallic material of the same kind as the camera stay 12 in a core layer is adopted.</p> |
