PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire electric discharge machine capable of improving safety, and capable of preventing splashing of a processing liquid, by detecting that the processing liquid stored in a processing tank exists in a predetermined height, in the wire electric discharge machine.SOLUTION: The wire electric discharge machine prohibits input of a processing power source when a water level of the processing liquid is lower than the predetermined height in the case of immersion processing by determining whether or not a processing method is the immersion processing, and thereby, prohibits the input of the processing power source in a state of being unable to properly execute the immersion processing since the processing liquid is not sufficient, and can improve the safety by preventing an electric shock by contact with a wire electrode and a processing local part of a workpiece and splashing of the processing liquid into the air. |
