PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist injection device for decontamination, for injecting a decontamination liquid obtained by mixing scallop powder and/or zeolite powder into water in a form of a mist onto a ground surface, wilderness, or building with a high radiation dose by a two-fluid nozzle.SOLUTION: A mist injection device for decontamination includes: a scallop liquid tank 1 for storing a water solution with scallop powder of an appropriate concentration; a zeolite liquid tank 2 for storing a water solution with zeolite powder of an appropriate concentration; a diaphragm pump 3 for selectively sucking the scallop water solution and/or the zeolite water solution from both of the tanks; a two-fluid nozzle 4 for introducing pressurized solution discharged from the diaphragm pump; and a compressor 5 for supplying compressed air to the diaphragm pump 3 and the two-fluid nozzle 4. The scallop powder and/or the zeolite powder is mixed with water to be water solution of an appropriate concentration, is changed into mist at the two-fluid nozzle 4 using the compressed air, and can be blasted onto a radiation-exposed body at a speed of 340-1,020 m/second at a nozzle tip. |
