The present invention relates of an apparatus and a method for generating an electrical stimulus, the apparatus including: a switch to output an on signal or an off signal; a first channel electric stimulus output unit to output a first electric stimulus signal; a second channel electric stimulus output unit to output a second electric stimulus signal; and a controller to control the first channel electric stimulus output unit to output the first electric stimulus signal when the on signal is inputted from the switch, and to control the second channel electric stimulus output unit to output the second electric stimulus signal when the off signal is inputted from the switch. Therefore, a configuration of the apparatus for generating the electrical stimulus can be simplified and an inconvenience can be reduced when using the apparatus by controlling the electrical stimulus outputting from two channels by using one switch, and various electric stimulus output modes can be provided by a simple configuration using a smaller number of switches. |
