PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rupture of a plate in a complete continuous hot rolling by improving bondability of a periphery of an edge part of sheet bar junction without increasing a size of a bonding device.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a hot rolled steel sheet according to the present invention, a shape of a plate width end of an end surface to be bonded of at least one of a preceding sheet bar and a following sheet bar after rough rolling is so formed as to have a taper shape or a curved surface shape by cutting, and thereafter, induction heating and upset bonding are carried out. |
