MOLDING DIE FOR ROLLER AND METHOD OF PRODUCING ROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die for roller which enables production of a roller with high deflection accuracy and a method of producing a roller.SOLUTION: A molding die 1 for rollers includes a tubular die 11 having an axial hole 25 and diameter-expanded inner peripheral surfaces 23 and 24 in both end parts and end part dies 14 and 17 which are mounted such a way as to be in tight contact with the diameter-expanded inner peripheral surfaces 23 and 24. At least one of the tubular die 11 and the end part dies 14 and 17 has at least one annular concave part 5 which is opened to the opposite surfaces of one of the diameter-expanded inner peripheral surfaces 23 and 24 and one of diameter-expanded outer peripheral surfaces 31 and 34 with an aperture area of 10-60%. A method of producing a roller including a step of holding an axial body in the molding die 1 for rollers and injecting a molding material is also provided.
