PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system enabling a designation of a hole processing position without an error when a customer places an order of a cabinet to a manufacturer through a communication line.SOLUTION: A position designation system includes a server 1 having a cabinet database 4, and a terminal 2 connected through a network 3. A shape of each face of the cabinet and an inhibition area 9 of each face where hole processing is not allowed are registered in the cabinet database 1. Object selection means 14 configured to select a cabinet which is a target of hole processing from the cabinet database 4 and display means 15 are installed in the terminal 2. One of the server 1 and the terminal 2 includes: position designation means 13 configured to arrange a hole shape to be processed on a face of the selected cabinet; and position determination means 16 configured to compare an arranged hole processing position with the inhibition area 9 to determine propriety thereof, and to display a determination result on the display means. |
