PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a storage block of latest data at higher accuracy after power recovery even when instantaneous power interruption is generated.SOLUTION: A data storage device includes a memory including a plurality of storage blocks and a memory control part, and divides the storage blocks into a management data area and a real data area. The management data area stores management data in writing which indicate writing start of real data, effective management data indicating writing completion of the real data and management data before erasure which indicate in a state where stored real data may be erased. The memory control part determines a storage block in which the latest data are stored on the basis of a storage state of management data.
