VEHICLE HAVING TRANSPARENT A-PILLAR STRUCTURE

A vehicle having a transparent A-pillar structure is disclosed. The vehicle comprises: a roof; a windshield for securing a forward view of a driver; a dashboard located on the inner side of the windshield; an A-pillar formed to be extended from the roof along both sides of the windshield and supporting the roof; an overturn detection sensor for detecting the overturn of the vehicle; a roof airbag installed on the lower surface of the roof and inflating toward the head of the driver to protect the driver when the vehicle is overturned; and a reinforcing beam hidden inside the dashboard usually and exposed to the outside to support the A-pillar and the roof if the sensor detects that the vehicle is overturned, wherein the A-pillar is made of a fiber reinforced transparent plastic material to prevent the forward view of the driver from being blocked.
