PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method for ground reinforcement depth giving consideration to liquefaction, which enables depth, requiring ground reinforcement, to be determined with a certain degree of accuracy by a simple test.SOLUTION: Basically, an FL method is used. In terms of each value needed for calculation of depth necessary for ground reinforcement in the case where the method is used, a value obtained by a Swedish sounding test is used as an N-value. Additionally, assumed values are used for soil, a fine-grained fraction content, and soil weight per unit volume. The soil is assumed as sandy soil, and the fine-grained fraction content is in the range of 10-20% (10% as a standard). |
