PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which enhances positioning accuracy of a thermal head to a platen roller.SOLUTION: The printer comprises a platen roller, a thermal head, a support part and an adjustment mechanism. The platen roller comes into contact to an intermediate transfer medium overlapped to a thermal transfer ink ribbon and moved. The thermal head is positioned facing to the platen roller, comes into contact to the thermal transfer ink ribbon for heating the thermal transfer ink ribbon. The support part is coupled to the thermal head. The adjustment mechanism comprises: a fixing screw disposed on the support part; and a movable screw screwed to the fixing screw, coupled to the thermal head, and capable of moving to the support part. Displacement of the movable screw with respect to the support part is converted into displacement of the thermal head with respect to the platen roller. |
