PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a torsion spring elongated in its peripheral direction to be appropriately compressed and deformed even if it is used in a torque converter lock-up device.SOLUTION: This device comprises a drive plate 72, a torsion spring 74 and a driven plate 73. The drive plate 72 comprise a fixed part 72a, a plurality of torque transmission parts 72b and a plurality of receiving parts 72c. The fixed part 72a is fixed to a piston 71. The plurality of torque transmission parts 72b are formed to extend from the fixed part 72a toward an outer peripheral part and abutted against an end part of the torsion spring 74 in its rotating direction. A plurality of receiving parts 72c are formed at an outer peripheral part of the fixed part 72a to support the inner peripheral side of the torsion spring 74 at the engine side from the axial center of the torsion spring 74 and extend to the transmission side. |
