PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to set an appropriate period of intermittent communication.SOLUTION: A radio terminal device 10 is provided that is able to operate in an intermittent communication mode in which at least one of transmission processing and reception processing at the time of communication with a radio base station 20 is intermittently performed at periodic timing. The radio terminal device 10 includes: a measuring unit 11 for measuring a time T1 from completion 14 of download of data via the radio base station 20 to a request 15 for download of next data according to operation of a user; a transmission unit 12 for transmitting time information about the time T1 measured by the measuring unit 11 to the radio base station 20; and a radio control unit 13 that obtains a parameter T2 indicating at least one of a transmission period and a reception period determined based on the time information from the radio base station 20 and controls the intermittent communication mode. |
