PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forgery prevention medium capable of preventing replication of the forgery prevention medium and easily discriminating an imitation from genuine articles.SOLUTION: The forgery prevention medium includes: a base material 11 and an electromagnetic wave absorber. The forgery prevention medium includes: a first pattern layer 12 laminated over the base material, which generates heat being irradiated with an electromagnetic wave of a predetermined frequency and a thermochromism material; and a second pattern layer 13 laminated over the base material to cover at least a part of first pattern layer as viewed from the top, the color of which reversibly changes between a color development state and a decolored state when the temperature changes across a predetermined threshold temperature. |
