PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an optical transmission apparatus in which the positional relation between an optical module and an optical waveguide is accurately adjusted.SOLUTION: A controller 90 photographs with a camera 70 a waveguide mirror 22 and a transmitting side optical module 30 corresponding to the waveguide mirror through an aperture 10a in a base plate 10. Further, the controller detects from the photographic result the optical axis center of the transmitting side optical module, and detects the center position of the reflective face of the waveguide mirror corresponding to the detected optical axis center. And the controller adjusts the positional relation between a plurality of optical waveguides and the transmitting side optical module and fixes the adjusted positional relation. |
