PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of suppressing occurrence of a wind ripple in the recording apparatus without providing a member separately.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus includes a head unit capable of forming multiple dots each having a different size including a first dot and a second dot on a recording medium. The recording apparatus has a first printing mode having multiple gradation reproduction regions including a first gradation reproduction region in the first printing mode using the first dot and not using the second dot and a second gradation reproduction region in the first printing mode using the first dot and the second dot, and a second printing mode having multiple gradation reproduction regions including a first gradation reproduction region in the second printing mode using the first dot and not using the second dot and a second gradation reproduction region in the second printing mode using the first dot and the second dot. The first dot is smaller than the second dot. A printing speed of the first printing mode is slower than that of the second printing mode. The first gradation reproduction region in the first recording mode is broader than the first gradation reproduction region in the second recording mode. |
