PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an adverse effect in transfer while suppressing a reduction in sensitivity.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion unit 139A generates an electric charge in pixel units corresponding to the amount of incident light. An accumulation unit 139B accumulates the electric charge in pixel units generated by the photoelectric conversion unit 139A after dividing it. An element separation unit 140 is formed at a boundary in pixel units of the photoelectric conversion unit 139A. An element separation unit 141 is formed at a boundary in divided pixel units of the accumulation unit 139B. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, a CMOS image sensor, etc. |
