PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel economy by continuing idle stop without restoring from fuel cut when a predetermined idle stop condition is established under fuel cut control, fully ensure a negative pressure of a brake booster, and prevent degradation of drivability.SOLUTION: A control system that controls a vehicle including a negative pressure brake booster which works with a manifold air pressure of an internal combustion engine as a power source initiates fuel cut control when a fuel cut condition is established. If a predetermined idle stop condition is established under the fuel cut control, idle stop is performed without restoration from fuel cut and control is executed to retard disengage of a lockup clutch of an automatic transmission. |
