PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control program and the like capable of controlling a printing speed for securing a suitable printing quality without changing the existing application and the like.SOLUTION: The print control program includes: a step of acquiring print data by an OS layer before being received by a communication port by a program which allows a computer provided with a communication port, operating by an OS of the OS layer, and executing a predetermined process by an application included in an application layer to execute a process of adding a command to the print data outputted to the communication port from an application; a step of determining whether or not each command of the acquired print data is a print instruction command of an object to be printed with a speed different from a standard speed in the application layer; and a step of allowing the computer to execute a process of adding a command to change a printing speed before the command so as to be outputted to the communication port when it is determined that each determined command of the print data is the print instruction command in the application layer. |
