PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a sealed battery, which can prevent the occurrence of welding failure.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the sealed battery includes: a leak inspecting process of inspecting a leak of helium H introduced in an outer package comprises; a first step of inserting a supply nozzle 120 into a liquid injection hole 33 which is formed in a lid part 32 of an outer package and is opened to the outside while ejecting helium H from the supply nozzle 120; and a second step of ejecting helium H from the supply nozzle 120 inserted in the liquid injection hole 33 and introducing the helium H into the outer package. The ejecting direction of the helium H ejected from the supply nozzle 120 in the first step is a direction which directs toward an inside surface 32a of the lid part 32 in which the liquid injection hole 33 is formed in the outer package from the supply nozzle 120 that passes through the liquid injection hole 33 when inserted in the liquid injection hole 33. |
