PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently, stably, and continuously manufacturing an extrusion-molded polycarbonate resin article having an excellent hue and accompanied by scarce impurities and the extrusion-molded polycarbonate resin article obtained by this method.SOLUTION: The provided method for manufacturing an extrusion-molded polycarbonate resin article is a method for continuously manufacturing an extrusion-molded article by extruding, from an extruder, a polycarbonate resin including structural units derived from a specified dihydroxy compound wherein the production of the extrusion-molded article is halted for 5 minutes or longer since the elapsing of at least 4 hours and till the elapsing of no more than 48 hours following the commencement of the production of the extrusion-molded article and wherein an operation for varying the extrusion pressure of an extruder outlet is executed while the production of the extrusion-molded article is being halted.
