PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device that maintains cleaning performance of a belt for a long period from an initial stage of the life of the belt, and an image forming apparatus including a cleaning device.SOLUTION: A cleaning device includes: a cleaning member 51 that is pressed against the surface of a belt 41 that makes a circular movement to clean the surface of the belt 41; and a pressing structure that includes both pressing methods of a first method of fixing a position of the cleaning member 51 while the cleaning member is pressed against the belt, and a second method, which can be switched from the first method, of pressing the cleaning member 51 against the belt 41 with an urging force of a spring. |
