PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device capable of easily coping with display shelves of various widths.SOLUTION: An illumination device L for a display shelf attached to the undersurface or the lower part of a shelf board is provided with a plurality of light-emitting devices includes a body cover 1, a base frame 2 accommodated in the body cover 1 for holding the plurality of light-emitting devices, a spacer member 4 inserted into a space S between the edge of the body cover 1 and the base frame 2, and a body end 5 attached to the body cover 1 through the spacer member 4.
