PURPOSE: A digital photographing apparatus, a method for controlling the same, and a recording medium storing a program to implement the method are provided to focus a moving person to a set composition using face identification, thereby easily photographing an image. CONSTITUTION: A photographing unit(123) inputs an input image. A display unit(113) displays a display image of the input image. A digital signal processor(129) comprises the following units. A face detector(129-1) detects the face of a person from the input image. A composition setting unit identifies the detected face to set composition. |
