PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lens assembly in which, upon fixing a lens by deforming a lens frame by heat, the fixation strength and the lens arrangement accuracy can be improved.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a lens assembly comprises: a lens arrangement step of arranging a lens 8 in the inner peripheral surface 10b of a lens frame 10, the inner peripheral surface 10b being surrounded by a frame body; an insertion step of inserting a deformation jig 6 for deforming the frame body by heat, into the frame body; and a lens fixation step of fixing the lens 8 to the lens frame 10 to form a lens assembly 11 by deforming a portion of the frame body in the periphery of the deformation jig 6 by heat generated by the deformation jig 6 so as to protrude toward the inside of the inner peripheral surface 10b to form on the frame body a contact part 10F to be in contact with the lens 8. |
