PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fixing an encoder dial which reliably prevents the dial from being loosened off in the axial direction and allows the dial to be easily removed when necessary.SOLUTION: As a structure for fixing a dial 5 of an encoder 1 to a rotor 4, a vertical notch 4a opened upward, an engaging hole 4b, and a fitting groove 4c extending from the notch 4a in the circumferential direction are formed on the upper part of the rotor 4, a fitting projection 5a and an engaging projection 5b are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the dial 5. After fitting the dial 5 onto the circumference of the rotor 4 by causing the fitting projection 5a and the engaging projection 5b to pass through the notch 4a of the rotor 4, the fitting projection 5a is fitted into the fitting groove 4c of the rotor 4 by rotating the dial 5 to the rotor 4 and the engaging projection 5b is engaged with the engaging hole 4b so as to fix the dial 5 onto the rotor 4. |
