PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in acknowledgment of the current state of affairs of the prior art encumbered with problems, in the case of a sorbent-supported metallic plate using an organic polymer-based sorbent, of a sorbent coating film prepared on a metallic plate from a coating liquid prepared by using a copious amount of water being cracked as a result of the shrinkage of the sorbent when dried owing to the attribute of the sorbent being swollen because of the inclusion of water and of the sorbent coating film being easily peeled under water-submerged conditions, etc. due to an inferior adhesiveness to the metallic plate, a sorbent coating liquid unaccompanied by such cracking and peeling problems; a metallic plate coated with the coating liquid; and a heat exchanger.SOLUTION: The provided sorbent coating liquid includes: organic polymer-based sorbent particles consisting of an organic polymer possessing carboxyl groups and a crosslinked structure; a cationic polymer adhered to the surface of the sorbent; a binder resin; an alcohol; and water. |
