PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for the suggestion of products that further satisfy the tastes of users through dialogues between a system and users that are in similar styles to the ones at the time of over-the-counter sales in actual shops, even when users are not sure what to buy in the beginning.SOLUTION: Through a first stage in which to suggest various products to a user and let the user select potential products to purchase, a second stage in which to let the user carefully look at the potential products to purchase, and a third stage in which to prompt the user to decide a product(s) to purchase, a product information provision system creates dialogue sentences from multiple kinds of dialogue templates and sequentially provide the created dialogue sentences to the user, and when the user returns an affirmative response, creates keywords for searching products and searches a product information storage unit and then extracts products that match the search keywords and presents the extracted products to the user. Consequently, the product information provision system allows for the suggestion of products that further satisfy the tastes of users via providing dialogues that are according to actual purchase processes that involve selecting several potential products to purchase while browsing various products, further looking at them, and deciding a product(s) to purchase. |
