The present specification relates to an apparatus for enabling a user to control a 3D display device more conveniently and accurately, and a control method thereof. To achieve this, according a disclosed embodiment, a 3D display device includes a 3D display unit, a measurement unit for acquiring location information indicating the position of a user located in front of the 3D display unit, and a processor for controlling the 3D display unit and the measurement unit, wherein the processor acquires a first angle that is a horizontal angle between the 3D display unit and the user from the location information, maintains an image displayed on the 3D display unit when the first angle is within a preset first angle range, and rotates the image displayed on the 3D display unit to the left or right by reflecting the first angle in the image with a vertical centerline of the image as axis when the first angle is beyond the first angle range. |
