An amorphous SiObased coating is applied by immersing silicate glass into SiOsol synthesised via hydrolysis of tetraethoxysilane using acetic acid (CHCOOH) as a synthesis reaction catalyst in a medium of ethyl alcohol (CHOH) in molar ratio of components tetraethoxysilane/HO/CHOH/CHCOOH=0.05-0.25/0.95-2/2-16/0.05-0.25.
