FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer shaped article and method of its production. In compliance with this method, extruded band of polymer melt is wound on preheated cylindrical bed to get a single-piece blank. Cooled blank is removed from said bed and subjected to machining. Extruded polymer melt band is wound at, at least one change in winding width. Winding is performed at width corresponding to the blank entire length.
